@dnastase - I did upgrade. And I was in the store - both screen and lag were apparent, I just wanted to convince myself that I am wrong.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so for you it may be OK to put up with apparent deficiencies when there are better hardware/software combinations. So what that combination is rare? It does not mean that I will have to put up with somebody not doing proper job and charging money for it. As it was said I am picky
It is also possible that I am missing something here, however for me - I was looking for something which I could use the same way as I did with my old Sony units - invest time and effort in finishing up software and enjoy. Most of this work is carried by manufacturer (it would be ideal if all of it would be done by them) but I have to build on solid foundation as this is not a full time job for me. Hence my apparent frustration, as I do not think this device is what I am looking for.
