I do just go over to Amazon and use the wishlist there a lot, but often can't be bothered--I don't want the book that badly, or I figure I'll notice it when my local library gets it in and grab it there, etc. By the time I actually have a decent Kobo coupon opportunity I usually have no idea what to do with it.
I use GR and Amazon lists because, yeah, you are so right. Wishlists are needed!
