In the USA, that is called a: Vertical Monopoly
Which is not, in itself, illegal.
Only if it can be shown to be anti-competitive is it illegal.
It could certainly be an interesting discussion, but in a thread for that purpose.
So why not someone start one? Threads are cheap here.
