I had another look, was able to set-up a proxy server on my local network and, most importantly, actually read the code.

The attached version seems to work. I haven't tried many books, and I don't know if I have tried all the functions. And I have tested without a proxy as well. Can you test this and tell me how it goes. Reports from others using proxies or not would be good as well.

Edit: I missed attaching the plugin. As there were several posts after this before I could, I posted it here.
