Unfortunately my ADE experience is limited since I buy my books on Amazon (partly for this very reason: ADE is an unnecessary distraction).
As I understand the NGP needs to be authorized in order to read the ADE protected books but this authorization process now doesn't work bc of the MTP issue.
The ADE support must be in the NGP software (hence the error dialog) but it doesn't have the necessary input.
I wonder if you have another Nook that is already authorized and if you can copy the .adobe* files (seems there are such files) from there to the NGP ...
