I'm with @grumbles - my T1 has always been a buggy mess. It got worse when I upgraded the firmware - to the one that ended up blocking rooting.
My T2 is more stable, and is still my preferred reader. I like Sony's default font, adore the on-device OverDrive support, the battery life is amazing, and Calibre collection building is a dream.
My Kindle PW2 has the great backlight, but has lousy battery life and I just don't get Amazon's software. We're not mentally compatible.
