The 10% only applies to books with VIP discount. Not all books have VIP discount unfortunately!
I wish Kobo would provide some categories buttons on these concession lists. They are mostly heavy with romance and sci-fi, which means people with little interests in these two areas might just forgo going through these lists entirely. |
They did have a link that was categories--I didn't link to that because it had my associate code in it! I had to click on something to get that out. Sorry! But that particular list does have a category start.

Then just look for your category and you should be able to find the books better.
And yes, they have too many romance/paranormal chests, etc.
