Hmnn. So, it's basically a Kobo Glo HD with water/dust proofing and a capacitive screen. I find myself wondering why their software's a bit more bloated... the Glo HD reportedly has 3.1GB free out of the box, compared to 2.8GB for the Nook Plus.
Still, all things considered, to hit the same price point as the Glo HD is pretty good. I can see this really appealing to Nook fans. (As I'm Canadian, B&N has never been a real option for me.)
