I recommend using the tablet profile. The profile is only used when converting books with images in them. It sets the maximum size of images. Any bigger than this will be resized down. For current Kobo models there is no need to do this as the device will resize the image when needed. Plus, if you upgrade to a higher resolution ereader, you will have lost image quality.
