My Voyage just feels much more durable than other kindles I have. Now mind you, I still have all my kindles going back the original K1 I got in 2008 and I have not broken any screen on any of them. They all still work fine, although the K1 does has some issues calling home at this point. I charge and pet it once a month.

Voyage just feels solid. I am not any more careful with it than any other kindle. I actually read this one without a cover, love how light it is, but put it in one at night and for bed reading. Nothing to do what I paid for it. I paid almost $400 for my first kindle
