Have never had anything to do with "APK" (are you referring to the Android games site?).
If one wants the Windows 7 Games Suite (which includes Solitaire) then there are plenty of installers for it to windows 10 with the whole suite on the internet (look at winaero, for example)
Most people seem to want XP Solitaire (myself included) and if so all one need do is get the sol.exe applet and cards.dll (I think someone has mentioned them already) off the internet (google, but there are even links to them from discussions in Microsoft's very own forums, copy them into a new folder in C:/ Program Files (x86), create a shortcut to the applet (and pin that to the Start Menu if so desired), and that is it.
I don't know what all the sweat is about as there is plenty on the internet about it all and all works fine here for me with Windows 10.
