I'm lucky I only have to walk down the stairs.
But it has its drawbacks; a lot of people know we live over the shop and ring the doorbell in the evening and on Sunday and Monday when we're closed. I don't mind in when there's an emergency (e.g.blown fuses) but some people think it's an emergency when the batteries of the remote control have died. We once had a fellow shop owner who kept coming by on Monday, after a while he proudly told my father that he did that because that way he was helped immediately and didn't have to wait in line!
