Ugh, yeah. I don't blame you.
I had a tiny hope that there was something about the tags that identified them (other than how they were categorized in AO3's internal database), so I could avoid all those rambling Tumblr-style tags that people seem to want to use and that make my library unsightly. I guess I just keep going through and periodically deleting all of those, then. Thanks for the quick and comprehensive answer!
