IMO, the points are just ridiculous. I did take advantage of the first lot they "gave" me as a gift and picked up a free book. That said, I've seen the number of points I've earned so far, and it will take so long to earn a free book, that I don't see the point. (No pun intended.) I figure I'll be lucky if I manage to get enough points to get 1 free book a year. Which is not exactly a stellar customer rewards program.
