There is another version out there (from cassette I think) read by Madelyn Buzzard. I've heard part of it, and she does sound more mature and serious, but I preferred Johnson.

I've never seen the cassette version, but I admit I wasn't a fan of Ms. Johnson. If for no other reason that her pronunciation of several key words that were just OFF. But one does learn to endure it.
