They're two separate cards. TexShare allows you to check out material from participating libraries across the state. An HPL card allows you to check out material only from HPL.

As to ebooks and audiobooks, you may or may not be allowed to download these items from a TexShare library. It depends on the lending library's policy. With an HPL card, you are allowed to download them from HPL only.
