You are right HarryT. So essential isn't really the word to use here, 'main' features perhaps?
I use plugboards too (courtesy of info both you and eschwartz have posted on the subject
) and now prefer this to using collections, but am still happy to accept the collections management with Calibre is a positive feature of the Kobo.
