Attached is a kepub that shows the problem. The space is subtle in the attached file, it is usually worse (noticeable enough that I notice it when I'm normally reading.) It may be worse if there are spaces before/after the dash.

firmware 3.15.0. patches installed. nightmode installed. "Show header and footer" unchecked.
Need to be tested on the latest firmware. Doesn't count unless it is. There have been about 5 newer firmware releases since 3.15.0. So what you see as an issue could have been fixed and/or changed.
