I don't know what the dimensions of the 505 are, but the tote pattern I used for someone's Sony can easily be adapted. If you make your own, it's a one-of-a-kind. Plus, there is a hand-dyed yarn sale going on right now:

There are lots of girly colors, plus handsome neutrals for men (and for women who like handsome neutrals).
I posted this on another site:
non-Superwash worsted wool
try 1 skein Lamb's Pride for solids:
http://www.yarn.com/product/webs-kni...pride-worsted/
or use 2 skeins Classic Elite Desert for the hand-dyed look:

or 2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool:

If you want to support an Uruguayan women's cooperative, use one skein of Malabrigo:

If you don't know how to knit, get a copy of Knitting for Dummies:

(guys might prefer Knitting with Balls:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/075...kinw_rke_rti_1
sorry it's only available in Paperback), and buy three pairs of knitting needles, size 7,8, and 9 (one of these three sizes should get the right gauge, but don't sweat it too much)
Dowload this felted tote bag pattern:

I recommend skipping the side piece and sewing front to back for a snug fit.
Buy an interesting button (It doesn't have to be a toggle button):

Skip the side piece and sew front to back for a snug fit.
You have a one-of-a-kind tote! If you want a matching (or contrasting ) cover, knit a long rectangle larger than the dimensions of your device (do a test swatch to calculate how much it shrinks when felted), sew down end flaps and voila!
