Long book titles used to be all the vogue. Eg I have on my iPad a book about Egypt written by Giovanni Belzoni in the early 19th century which has the catchy title:

"Narrative of the Operations and Recent Discoveries within the Pyramids, Temples, Tombs, and Excavations in Egypt and Nubia; and of a Journey to the Coast of the Red Sea, In search of the Ancient Berenice; and another to The Oasis of Jupiter Ammon"

When it's published today (and it's still in print) it's generally under the title "Belzoni's Travels" .
