I prefer the single purpose device for reading. I did read a lot on my Fire HD6, but went back to e-ink. Lighter weight, longer battery life, and single purpose really suits my needs better. My eyes love my Kobo Glo HD, Aura HD, and Kindle Voyage. And it's nice knowing my latest addiction, Acey-Duecey, is not waiting to taunt me with unfair computer advantage in the back ground.
