The origami folds work well for creating a stand, but frankly I seldom read like that so I wish they were not even a part of the cover as it makes it awkward opening the cover. But that is not a big issue. Once the cover is flipped to the back they behave well and are not a bother. But when I first got the case I nearly dropped my Kindle a few times because I was not prepared for the cover folds to fold when they did. But I soon learned what was going to happen and how to deal with it.

What I really like in the Origami is that for my hands (tiny, my 11 yo daughter has longer fingers than mine), if I fold the cover in the back in the stand position, the reader can seat very comfortably in my hand. It looks weird, but it works for me...
