Last spring I binge read her Brac Universe, which is made up of 7 interconnected series involving werewolves and other shifters, fae, dark elves, vampires, demons, mythological beings up the wazoo. It was right about the time I'd finished the 50 or so books leading up to a major story arc that the scandal broke. I went hunting on Goodreads to see when "Saving Sean", the next book that was supposed to reveal a certain character's mysterious/tortured past and tie up a lot of other loose ends, was coming out. Only to discover an entirely different sort of revelation. I'd hoped at first it was all a big misunderstanding, then she admitted her guilt. Worse, it wasn't accidental borrowing, like when you read a book or watch a movie then years or even decades later you decide to write a story and some element or another creeps in that you could have sworn was entirely your own idea but turns out to be a rehash of the stuff you'd totally forgotten about. That would have been understandable and, when made right, forgivable. But not in this case. Her books and reputation are forever tainted as readers will always be wondering what else she's helped herself to because she was "in a hurry and needed the money".

Not to mention what other pen names she might be using, so as not to buy from her again after such a bad burn as this.
