I got 90% we've missed you codes from KOBO in 2 of my email accounts.
They didn't work. When I went to re-check them, I looked at my list of codes and realized that KOBO sent me these exact codes in September, so of course, they don't work. In September they expired on 9/16. I did use them. The codes I just received are due to expire on 10/16. I did try them in both the KOBO account associated with the email and a different account just to be sure. And, yes I did check that the books I tried were coupon eligible.
For those of you that have received codes lately that didn't work, I wonder if this is the reason.
