Yes, I do have some few small scratches and marks on the border. Not a lot of them because I use the cover most of the time.

I think it´s to be expected and I´m happy the border is slightly raised because those would have been scratches on the screen.

My solution is not to care about it. It just happens with things in hard plastic.

If it´s really important, get a kindle voyage instead ... it has a scratch resistant surface. (Augment with a screen protector if you´re into that sort of crap on your gadgets)
