As knc1 said, a factory reset won't harm the USBNet hack if you restore the usbnet folder manually after the fact.

If you don't have a backup, just grab the latest snapshot, it contains a copy of it. Unpacking an update package with KindleTool is also an option (the recommended one, in fact, for K4 & PW2/PW3/KT2/KV owners, in order to get the right set of binaries).
