Oyster finally sent out an email to their customers explaining that the service will stop in January 2016. The email links to an FAQ page. One of my favorite features of Oyster was the way their app promoted discovery of similar books, and I had created many book lists of interesting reads. They have set-up your account page on their website so that you can download this information. Also you can export your highlights & notes from books read.
