I would have thought that the Russian market is a big one, too. And in Germany she is not unknown, at least she was awarded several literary prices here.

I am not exactly disappointed but I hoped a little bit that they would give the price to Henning Mankell. Maybe mystery and crime doesn't count as literature with the Nobel comittee.
