This is probably a bit OT for this thread, but....
  1. Hover over the Amazon home page "Your Account"
  2. Select "Manage Your Content and Devices"
  3. In the "Action" column for each book, you'll find a button with an ellipsis on it (...) - click on the button
  4. Click on "Download & transfer via USB"
  5. Save the file when given the option

I know of no way to do it in bulk.
