What are you disappointed about? That it's an author you've never heard of? That's not unusual for the Nobel; they're not a popularity award.

Looking at the prize winners for the last 20 years, I've only ever heard of 7 of them, and only read works by three of those 7 (Doris Lessing, Seamus Heaney, and Günter Grass). That's primarily due to my lack of familiarity with literature in languages other than English.
