1. Download firmware 1.3 from here

2. Download Universal Updater from here

3. Unzip UniversalUpdater to "any folder".

4. Unzip firmware1.3.zip to the same "any folder" and RENAME it to "new_opt.img"

5. Copy the contents of "any folder" to an sd card and put it in the PRS-505.

6. On the PRS screen choose number 4 (you need to copy the firmware to the device)

7. When this is done choose "Flash new firmware".

8. Wait for it to complete and reboot.

DONE!
