I'm just a tad perturbed at Amazon tonight. My upset is all around their ebooks, of which I have over 6K since 2012. Problem is lately a few of the oldest ones I downloaded to Calibre years ago but past by reading until recently have disappeared from my on-line kindle cloud. I side-loaded them via Calibre Companion and upon trying to open in Kindle get the message to "Remove from device and download a new copy." Question is why in tarnation and how are they checking out what I read. Now they are AZW not AZW3 and are no longer available in the book store. I did find my order at Amazon though. I suggest if one has the means to convert Amazon formats to something they cannot get their hands on.

On a happier note.... I don't get out much anymore and my wife can't up and visit stores very often, so we buy stuff a lot through Amazon. Don't return a lot but they have been very good about it. Have to laugh at my fat fingers though, as a couple times a month I'll get fired up about a book and click on "Single Click" thinking it's the Kindle Unlimited. I always catch it in a couple minutes and they always quickly refund it. They're not all bad if you can keep them away from YOUR books.
