My name is Dustin. I am using Calibre to convert my book to ebook. I have converted it into an EPUB. Then I tried to save the EPUB file to my desktop, but I cannot seem to find an option to do this. The closest thing says, "Save to disc", but that does save it as an EPUB file that I can upload to Kindle. I'm sure the answer is right in front of my eyes, but I can't see it.
What precisely is the problem?

Save to disk saves the EPUB to a folder of your choosing, which is exactly what you said you wanted.

What do you mean "that does save it as an EPUB file that I can upload to Kindle"???
Do you want something that can be emailed to your Kindle? Then convert it to MOBI, not EPUB.
(Why would you convert it to EPUB -- the Kindle is not an EPUB reader.)

P.S. calibre has a send-to-email feature that can do the emailing for you, too. See the dropdown under Connect/Share.
