Kobo Glo unable to enumarate usb device

Hi

It looks like I can charge my device but I cant use it as a storage device. This was working fine sometime ago and it stopped working suddenly, which I have no idea about.

I am using Debian Linux and when I plug the device to usb port I see that it says "unable to enumarate usb device, device descriptor read error, device not accepting adress 45 error -71 etc" type errors. The device is no listed under "fdisk -l" so the devis is not known to the system as far as I can tell.

Does this mean that the usb is fud or just a software issue?

thanks
