Since I've never and will never own an Apple device of any kind, or Chromecast for that matter, the policy change doesn't affect me. But if you have 2 Sony players, and they continue to provide access to Amazon Video, I'm not following what you think you're being baited and switched about?
You've bought and returned 10 bluray players or bluray disks? What exactly do you need whichever it is to do? Maybe you're just looking at wrong models?

Save your money I already purchased that model & returned it False Adv it Doesn't stream Amazon. Best Buy on their site said Amazon was to ADD the app After March 2015 So I purchased another one in May 2015 Returned it to. Purchsed another one same model from BB in Sept 2015 Returned it too! BB told me Stop I told them Open the Box hook it up & Prove it does the streaming adv on it Before customers buy. Until then we in stale mate.
