Mine got so very slow as to be useless, so I went with the nuclear option, a factory restore. A PITA, but I got a $5 credit for registering a new Nook, lol, and at least it could be used again (although I admit I never do). |
I'm not sure about the HD6 but both our Nook HD+'s have been great. I use mine all the time for everything from comics to games and even writing.
