I'm thinking the term "Premium Android" is well on its way to meaning "Niche" or even "oxymoron". There is very little meaningful differentiation between the low and mid-range and the high end. Especially on the tablet side. Most of the "premium" features look more like goldplating or specmanship.

Most of the investment in Android phones these days is going to low end, emerging markets rather than first world premium phones.
