They will have to steal our KindleTool this time (along with KUAL and MrPI).
(KindleTool has recently been updated with some changes easily recognized, even in a re-built binary.
That change can be used as a 'fingerprint'.
The fact that it speeds up KindleTool significantly is a side benefit.)

Yes - I get my 'panties in a bunch' when commercial enterprises use open source software for-profit while ignoring the license terms that lets them have the software.
The (new) government of china officially supports international I.P. protections - but its a big country and only 20 years or so has not been long enough for everyone to 'get the word'.
At least they still have that 'old school', quaint habit of taking violators of government policy out back, standing them against the wall, and shooting them.
