Highly recommended. All of the above are on my usual yearly rereading list. The characters feel like old, old friends.

Also, if you haven't read them, I really enjoyed Christopher Paolini's "Inheritance Cycle". He wrote the first one "Eragon" at age 15, and his youth shows in some places, but the writing gets progressively stronger, as does the story and characters. Worth a read.
