I am trying to install calibre in a win 8.1 machine. Downloaded 2.39 through firefox, chrome and IE. All had the dame failure.
The file it says I need permission for does not exist.
I carried a 2.38 that I had used previously on a win 7 machine successfully, to the win 8.1 machine and got the same failure.
Is there something special about 8.1 and calibre?
