yeah according to your images, it's pretty easy to see. If i were to have the same issue I would have noticed it and would have complained. Being a brand new purchase I'd go and get a replacement...

Usually companies tend to try to avoid exchanging devices with bad pixels, however the amount of dead pixels usually is about 12 deadpixels max. i guess for your case it's pretty serious issue and I wouldn't try to open the device to fix it by yourself.
