Amazon US

I don't know why the books are "banned". But I will buy and reread Flowers for Algernon.

The page should be valid tomorrow and the next week, hopefully also for Danes.
Ha. I initially interpreted your first sentence to mean that Amazon had banned the books. I kept trying to process that thought in my mind--what kind of books would Amazon feel a need to ban? In fact, the meaning was almost the opposite of what I was thinking--Amazon is not banning the books, but, in fact, is promoting--by advertising and reduced prices--banned books in this event.

I wish that this were the place to discuss the issue of banning books, but it isn't. I'd like to put in my two cents worth. That would have to be done in a different forum on Mobileread, if there is one for it.

BTW--is the dog in the photo a great [sic] Dane? ha
