Well, if you've ever played contract bridge, then the Bridge in the Menagerie, by Victor Mollo.

Anyone who has played Contract Bridge in any even mildly serious way will both learn something, and laugh out loud at the Hideous Hog, the Rueful Rabbit, Oscar the Owl and all the other characters. Sadly, it's not available as an eBook, though some of his later books are.
