Actually, no there isnt. Once you send a document to the Amazon cloud, you should be able to download it on your Kindle and the Android app.
Ir you do it via the app, make sure the "store in cloud" box is ticked. If you send via email, it does this automatically (you can review what's up there via "My content & devices" on the Amazon page). The service has a few hickups now and the (like once or twice a year)...
And then of course, Whispersync needs to be enabled, so that any books sync at all...
