For searching for books available in the Kindle Lending Library, try the following:
Do a search under books (not Kindle books specifically) for the type of books you're looking for. Then--click on "Prime" under the "Show Results For" option on the left side of the screen. Lastly, choose "Kindle Edition". As far as I can tell, this limits the books shown to only the Kindle editions that are Prime lending eligible.
