I recently finished Mike Shepherd's
Vicky Peterwald: Survivor (spinoff line from his Kris Longknife series) and rather enjoyed it. The latest book in the main line,
Kris Longknife: Tenacious, is now on my reader, and the next one comes out in about a month.
I've also just loaded the second
Limbus, Inc. anthology, and may tackle it next. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one, which is presently
on sale for 99 cents at Amazon US. Think of an evil corporation that offers too-good-to-be-true jobs to desperate people, with elements of SF, fantasy, and horror; that's pretty close to the mark.
On top of that, I'm also editing one book and doing some worldbuilding to write one of my own. I'm accustomed to an annual books-read count around 150, but I haven't even broken 60 for this year yet...
