What about the New York Times article on callous treatment of employees who are ill or experiencing extreme family crises? It's too soon to be sure, but I'm both hoping and expecting that Amazon has indeed, once again, been touched, and in a good way.

Compared to old-fashioned strong labor unions, and the mid-twentieth century small-business protective anti-trust approach, the touch provided by media exposes is on the weak side. But it ain't nothing either.
