This may sound weird, but thank you for not saying "passed", which is far too mealy-mouthed for my taste. Is this a cultural difference? Just heard Alex Jones on BBC1 The One Show say that Jackie Collins had "passed", which I think is unusual phrasing here in the UK. Normally it is "passed away" or, simply, "died".
