Dear Respected Thread Competitors,

Is it not wise to wear appropriate garb when competing for the win? The proper garb will ensure that you are adequately protected in the case of certain unfortunate events (keep an eye out for evil eyes on ankles or evil eyes in general). I would recommend a solid suit of classic medieval armor which would offer protection from dangerous projectiles (and can even allow the continuance of winning even in the face of loss of limbs although you should avoid flying cows), although it is recommended that those in armor avoid quicksand since we'd hate to see the win sink with you.

Of course, a polyester leisure suit might also work, since it has the potential to blind all others due to it's sheer disco-ocity. Just make sure you also include gold neck chains for it is a violation of the disco code to not wear neck chains with polyester.
