I don't have that problem, the image doesn't resize when rotating the screen (or did I misunderstand you?) Could it be a problem with the size of your image? Mine was created on an iPad app, so it's exactly the same pixel size as my screen, which means it must be enlarged to be used as a wallpaper, but I don't see any problem with the image quality. When I rotate the iPad, a different area of the image is visible on screen to adapt to the ratio, but the image size is unchanged (I measured it).
